– THE BAKELESS BAKESALE

This is a project that we hope you will find fun to do as well as help give support through our fundraising projects.  We appreciate any amount you may wish to donate.  We are hoping this little poem will help you understand how it works.

A lot of news we have today

A Bakeless Bake Sale is on the way.

In these busy days, who wants to bake

Pies and cookies – or even a cake?

You’d be surprised if you counted the cost

Of materials, heat and time you have lost.

Cooking for a sale is extra work

Yet nobody really wishes to shirk.

So we’ve thought of a plan that’s really grand

And feel quite sure you will understand.

In this little envelope, just for our sake

Please place the donation that you wish to make

Without fuss or bother, you’ve done your part

We’re sure you’ll give with a willing heart.

This is the end of our little tale –

Please wish us success with our Bakeless Bake Sale.

So we are asking for you to pick a recipe that you would have

made, tally up the cost of everything it would have cost, also please include the  recipe you would have used.  We are hoping to gather all recipes after this is completed and create a small cookbook with everyone’s recipes which we will sell following the fundraiser for a small cost.

To date people are enjoying this fundraiser and loving sharing their recipes.  They can be dropped into the church office any day of the week.

We are asking that monies and recipes be received by April 30, 2023.
