Advent Bible Study:
Our "Advent Bible Study" is being held on Wednesday, Dec. 11th at 10:00am with Daniel Szemok. All are welcome to attend.
Christmas Hampers annual program is underway again this year.
Items needed are:
Dec 15th - canned vegetables, pkg of cookies, large tub of margarine
We are asked to bring out items downstairs and put them on the designated tables each Sunday.
If anyone if willing to sponsor a child's name on the Hamper List, the sign-up sheet is on the back table by the church office. All items must be returned by Sunday, December 15th.
100th Anniversary Church Calendars:
Our calendars have arrived! They're now on sale and can be purchased through the Church office for $10 each. Limited number available.
Mitten Tree:
Our Mitten Tree is up and we are now collecting donations of hats, mitts, gloves, scarves and toiletry items (soap, shampoo, toothpaste, deodorant, etc). All donations need to be returned by Sunday, December 15th
WINTER COATS:
If anyone has any winter coats they are no longer using and are willing to donate, please bring them into the church office and they will be shared with those in need. Thank you for your consideration in this matter.

LOONIE SOCK LADIES GET-TOGETHER - POT LUCK
Calling on all ladies of the Church to come and enjoy "ladyship". Bring a friend! All ladies are welcome!
Make a favourite dish (hot or cold) and come prepared for an enjoyable time. Our annual "Loonie Sock" get-together is usually on a Saturday but we are changing it up this year to Thursday. Jokes and funny stories are welcome.
Ladies bring $12 ($1 per month for 12 months) but guests do not have to support the loonie sock. Proceeds from this event go to our yearly Christmas hampers.

Offering Envelopes for 2025 are ready. You can pick yours up at the back of the church.

Volunteer Help Wanted: Help is needed to manage and upload information and photos to the church website. For more information please email the church office at St_Andrews1@outlook.com.
New church members
New members are always welcome. If you are interested in becoming a new church member, please leave a 'Welcome Card' on the offering plate for the church office.
Bulletin cover photos
The church is looking for bulletin cover photos. If anyone has meaningful photos that express "Christ's presence in our daily lives", please submit them to the church email (St_Andrews1@outlook.com)
Offering envelopes for 2024
If there is anyone who would like offering evelopes for the 2024 year, please contact Karen in the church office. If you would prefer, you can use Pre Authorized Remittance (PAR), which is an amount of your choice taken on the 20th of the month from your bank account. If this is something you are interested in, please see Karen at the church office and remember you will need a void cheque when you see her.

Cards for sale: Cards for all occasions are on sale at the back of the sanctuary by the minister's study 3/$1. You will find: Thinking of you; Get Well; Birthday; Friendship; Special Occasion and blank cards to write your own message. Please feel free to check them out, there are beautiful cards to be had!
Church Directories are now available. If you are interested in purchasing a Church Directory, you may do so at a price of $20 (parishioners photographed by Universal Portrait Studios will receive a free copy of the directory).
Our St. Andrew's United Church Cookbook is now ready! What a wonderful Birthday gift for a loved one/a child away, a friend, neighbour or anyone you know who likes to cook! Also for students going to university! Recipes were submitted by church members. Nearly each page also contains a cooking tip. Cookbooks are $20 each or 2 for $30.00.
