Gift Card Fundraiser
We are asking people in the congregation to contribute Gift Cards in the amount of $25 each from any store or restaurant (keeping in mind we need a variety) by the end of April. The cards will be collected into a basket and we start selling tickets on the basket on May 1st.
Tickets on the basket will be 1/$2, 3/$5, 7/$10 or 15/$20
Please bring your donations to the church office during office hours.
Church Office Hours: Monday 9-4; Tuesday 9-4; Wednesday 9-4; Thursday 9-4; Friday 9-4.
St. Andrew's Breakfast Group: The St. Andrew's Breakfast Group will meet at the Portage Restaurant on Saturday, April 27 at 10:00 a.m.
UCW Meeting: General meeting for St. Andrew's UCW is scheduled for Tuesday, April 23rd at 1:30 p.m.
Bible Study/Discussion Group: A bible Study and Discussion group 'Rethinking God and Creation' will be offered starting on Thursday May 9, 10:30 a.m. until noon. Using the bible as a scriptural basis for discussion, the focus will be our relationship to the living earth. For example: this includes plants in our gardens and trees in our yards. These are not merely decorative objects but, more importantly, living items.

New church members
New members are always welcome. If you are interested in becoming a new church member, please leave a 'Welcome Card' on the offering plate for the church office.
Bulletin cover photos
The church is looking for bulletin cover photos for the seasons of Epiphany and Lent. If anyone has meaningful photos that express "Christ's presence in our daily lives", please submit them to the church email.
Offering envelopes for 2024
If there is anyone who would like offering evelopes for the 2024 year please contact Karen in the church office. If you would prefer, you can use Pre Authorized Remittance (PAR), which is an amount of your choice taken on the 20th of the month fro your bank account. If this is something you are interested in please see Karen the church office and remember you will need a void cheque when you see her.

Cards for sale: Cards for all occasions are on sale at the back of the sanctuary by the minister's study 3/$1. You will find: Thinking of you; Get Well; Birthday; Friendship; Special Occasion and blank cards to write your own message.
Yard and bake sale: A yard and bake sale will take place here at St. Andrew's on Saturday, May 4 from 8:00 a.m. - 12 noon. People are asked to consider saving items that are in 'Good Working Condition' for the yard sale.
Good Used Clothing Sale: The 'Good Used Clothing Sale' will be held late August and people are asked to remember to save items for this sale.
Church Directories are now available. If you are interested in purchasing a Church Directory, you may do so at a price of $20 (parishioners photographed by Universal Portrait Studios will receive a free copy of the directory)
Our St. Andrew's United Church Cookbook is now ready! What a wonderful Mother's Day, Birthday, etc. gift for a loved one/a child away, a friend, neighbour or anyone you know who likes to cook! Recipes were submitted by church members. Nearly each page also contains a cooking tip. Cookbooks are $20 each or 2 for $30.00.
