About the event

On Sept 30, people all across Canada will wear orange shirts to remember and honour Indigenous children who were taken from their communities and families to residential institutions.  Local truth and Reconciliation Day Event is on Saturday, September 30th at 1:00 pm at Queen Elizabeth Park.
